She might feel distant just because she's slightly confused about the new relationship that's starting. I know when I'm confused people have thought I looked like a snob! When I really am just a goober (of course). Things might be icky for a bit, but let some time pass and I'm sure it'll be like nothing happened. Funks and phases happen all the time, but their 15 minutes of fame pass.
